Hood Latch 95 850 wagon 850

Just to let people know. I was in the engine compartment yesterday in below zero temps. When I was done my wife took the car and had the hood open going down the road. Thought it was latched but found out otherwise

    almost happened to me...left side flapped around..right side held (quick prayer of thanks there!)...

    I solved this by lubricating the hell out of the hood catches on both sides....they LOOKED well lubricated but worked much better after thougher clenaing, oiling and greasing (I used WD40 to disolved the gunk, some light oil to penetrate in, then finished off with spray chain lubricant for some 'body')

    Ditto My son had that happen to him on Monday night. Anyone have a hood for sale?
