V70 SRS Airbag Warning V70-XC70 2001

In order to clean up a mess under the front driver's seat (Don't ask!), I had to unplug all the wires under the seat, including the side airbag. I disconnected the battery before beginning and reconnected the battery after everything else, but the message center now shows an SRS airbag warning. Is there any simple way to reset this warning? I am reasonably sure everything is connected properly. I think it knows I disconnected the airbag, even the though car battery was disconnected first.

You must go to a dealer so that they can read, clear fault codes. Tell them what you did so that they're not wasting time trying to assume they're looking for an intermittant electrical problem (common today too btw with new Volvos) and thus misdiagnose a problem that doesn't exist. IF you're there for any type of service work, maybe they'll do that at no charge to you (otherwise they'ld probably charge you something).
