Brake squeal S60 2002

I replaced the front brake pads with mintex pads and since then the brakes have been squealing when applying the brakes at a low speed.

Type in "brake squeel" in the search field, below, to find
many (many) similar posts. Very often, after-market pads cause
squeeling in Volvos. Sometimes liberal use of brake grease
can help but often you need to go back to OEM.

Some brake material types and brands are worse then others.
The different posts cover most of the pros and cons of various
brands and materials.

I have found this with my 850 as well, I have to use Volvo pads and rotors
