Bank1 versus Bank2 ??? S80 2000

Hi.
I am recieving codes related to the oxygen sensors from the OBD reader.
My question is: What side of the engine is Bank 1? Is it #1,2 and 3 cylinders or is it #4, 5 and 6? Also is sensor #1 the one before the CAT's?
The car is a 2000 T6.
Thanks
Thomas

    Bank1 versus Bank2..................and front vs rear? (4 total) S80 2000

Volvos Vadis PC can identify exactly which one of 4 O2 sensors is faulty as you need to know not only which bank but front vs rear too. The Vadis PC can also monitor each O2 sensor as well.
I have never used a generic scan tool so I can't tell you how else to properly guess at which one of 4 you need BUT they're very costly so for a 1 hour diagnostic fee, you might be best off to visit a dealer.

Bank 1, cyls 1 2 3. Bank 2, 4 5 6. Sensor 1 would be front sensor. Replacment of T-6 O2 sensors is a pain in the ass. If you are replacing 1, I strongly suggest you do all 4.
