7500 miles, message warns for oil change, how do i reset it so message doesnt keep coming up?

I happen to be reading the owners manual, and the only way to remove the message is by bringing it back to volvo. They must have a code or they reset the system computer ...

Just get a service done and it'll be reset at the dealer at no cost.
It just a reminder to change your oil and maintain your vehicle. Most dealers will reset the light even if you just go in for an oil change, but to be safe just mention it to them.
