Removing 5 speed shift knob on 98 c70 C70 1998

Anyone know how to revome and replace the leather shift knob on a 5 speed?

    If nobody knows you might try the dealership parts counter. If they have one in stock it might shed some light on the subject. I don't think it's a simple screw-on.

      I replaced the knob in my S-70 T5M I replaced the plastic with a leather knob(which should be the same as the C-70). It is not a screw off type, it snaps on and needs to be broken to be removed. Get the new knob before starting. To remove the knob make a vertical cut from the bottom of the knob up about 1 inch (the height of the plastic ring below the leather), then cut around the knob and peal the plastic ring off. You should then be able to remove the knob.
