Obnoxious suspension chatter, help needed S70 1998

Hello. I own a 98 S70 t-5 which is def. showing its age. I have a problem with my front right suspension (or so I think). when going at extremely low speeds (idle to 20mph) a knocking sound can be heard in the front right strut area. This noise is combined with a sloppy feel of the suspension. Over the last few months I've had multiple parts replaced under my extended warranty, but none of these have fixed the problem. The areas already replaced are:

Sway bar and sway bar bushings replaced
Stabilizer link replace
Upper spring seat replaced
Front wheel hub replaced (bearings and hub)
3 motor mounts replaced
upper motor mount replaced

any ideas??? i am desperate, and am leaving in a week and want to fix the problem before I return back up north to school.

any suggestions would be most appreciated, my volvo dealer has screwed me to the wall on this one telling me there's nothing wrong...as always!

Yeah i have a t-5 that had the same problem it is a worn strut mount above the strut. It causes the strut to no go directly up and down and it rubs against the inside of the wheel well. Once you replace the piece itll stop making the loud noise but ive learned that my t5 will never be rid of noises. http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsCat.aspx?CategoryID=484&NodeID=500&RootID=629

I had the same problem before and posted a message on 2 Jun last year on this forum. (Search "S70 suspension noise'

I got the mounts, spring seat, bushing and links (and bump stops) and decided to change all of them. The loud 'Cluck, Cluck' noise is gone but there is still some minor noises yet to be rid off.

Your control arms are probably shot...especially if you hear it at lower speeds mostly. The control arms contain your ball joints which are what causes the knocking when loose. Jack up one side and grab the tire at the 12 and 6 o'clock position and rock back and forth. If you can feel any rocking at all they are definately bad.

The most common 2 causes are stabilizer links and the upper strut bushing but you say that those have been done (plus more) SO I advise that you go back to your dealership and go for a test drive with a tech so that he can hear the noise that you're mentioning. That way there's no doubts, you say "THAT noise" and if it's there, the tech will also hear it, right?
That's always the best way to solve a noise related problem.
As for "sloppy suspension", it's either caused by a worn suspension/steering part or bad tires but ask the tech what he thinks while on the test drive.
