Is this (the link) the correct part. I noticed the price was a bit different than that quoted previously on this forum.

    That's the right switch. Wells, Japan is the mfg. It is the same switch at the one that I removed. Made in Japan as is the tranny.
    Price is the asme as the one I got in Oct.

    Just order one from www.FCPGroton.com its the original Volvo piece, $95. Here's a link: http://www.fcpgroton.com/volvo850other.htm . These people carry most every part you'd need for your 850 anyway. I don't know what you'd get from AutoZone.
