Throttle stuck on Full!!! Help!!!! 850

Went to my car, started it and it raced to redline and stayed there! Turned it off right away. Accelerator pedal has no resistance at all. Shouldn't this make it stick in idle, and not full throttle? Is it a spring? Something I can do quickly? I don't feel like towing it if it's a simple problem. Thanks!!!!

    Check the cable and throttle plate under the hood, remove the black top cover with the one torx screw that holds it on and look at the cable, see if it has slipped out of the groove it is suppossed to be in on the pulley.

    you should be able to freely open and close the throttle plate by hand under the hood, something must be bound up.
