850 running warm....? 850 1996

Hello all. Recently replaced thermostat in my 96 850 n/a and now it seems to run a little warm. Not level but a tad bit above level is this ok? I replaced the stock one with an autozone replacement which honestly seemed cheap (in terms of the construction). Any oppinions/ thoughts? Attached pic is of level

It might be okay, but mine is always in the three o'clock position.

looks like where my temp gauge is at, i also replaced my thermostat with one from O'Reily auto parts and it had the wrong gasket, i had to reuse the old gasket.

That's where my 855R runs too.

the 2 to 3 o'clock area is normal operating temp.

I wouldn't worry, you're OK.
