97 850 wagon 850

I have a 94 ' 850 with remote control door locks .


Just bought a 97 850 glt wagon that needs the key to unlock the doors .

How tough of a job is it, to install a factory remote from a junkyard
and have my 94 remote work on both cars . thanks.

    You program the car to accept the remotes, I would think that if both remotes are the same type, theoryeticly (spelling?!?) you should be able to program both cars to accept the same remote!! Im not sure, but I think the remotes are different from 96 on!!
