Trailer hitch recommendations 850

I am looking for options for a hitch for my 850 N/A wagon. I know volvo makes one, but it is expensive, and I've heard that it uses specific attachments that are either not common or expensive over alternative hitches.

What have other people used as hitch sources?

Thanks!

the volvo hitch is much safer due to a much more secure attachment than an aftermarket hitch, if u find a used one it may have the standard 2 in. square

Last summer I ordered one for my 94 turbo wagon from drawtite on the web for like 90 bucks. Shipped it right to the house. It installs easily in about 15-20 minutes, no modifications necessary(for the wagon). I then paid the local u haul guy 50 bucks to purchase and put the converter box? and wiring in. Used it to haul a uhaul (with a piano in it) from texas to illinois. Worked great. Get the tongue(The bit that slides in and out and afixes with a pin) from drawtite. I bought the right size ball locally.

U-haul sells a re-badged Drawtite hitch for the wagons. Simple three bolt install, takes 15 minutes. Around $90. The tailight converter is also available through them or online and requires a little patience and a torx driver to remove the rear hatch sill.

After scratching my head for awhile over where to pass the wires through from the converter to the exterior I fished them through the cabin vent just behind the driver's side rear tire. From there the harness snaked under the bumper cover to the hitch. I extended the power lead and ran it under the car to an in-line fuse at the battery. There are probably better ways to do it.

I pulled all this stuff off when I thought I'd sell the car but now we might keep it. Back on it goes.
