bilstein economy or heavy duty? 850 1995

Love my new turanza ls-v tires. Strut mount has failed i guess, bad noise every little bump. Shop says it is good time to replace shocks since all of labor to get to strut mount. car has 100k , turbo wagon, which brand or version is giving best comfort, quiet and taming the 850s harsh ride?

I have same year 850, turbo. Just replaced struts/shocks as a DIY job with Bilstien HD, and love the ride. Its very tight, and you will feel every slight undulation in the road, but when you hit a big bump, clear a set of railroad track, etc, you will love not having to slow down!!! THis is really a drivers preference question, and I prefer a bit harder ride, with more road feel...if not your choice go with TC.

In so far as the rattle is concerned, sound like the sway bar links....$25 a pair and 30 minutes work....thats what mine did....

    Best of luck...
    alan.

at 100k miles...on original shocks... it wouldn't be out of the question they're are nearing the end of their life.

bilstien hd is gonna be a little stiffer than economy...but if u have stock springs and 15" or 16"...i don't think that would be a big deal. it will provide u with great control of body motion... if u feel it is too stiff...go with economy...this will be closest to stock specs when new...
