leaking antifreeze 850 1997

I have a small leak of antifreeze. It looks like the line returning (or entering) the bottom of the radiator is not on tightly. If I try to adjust this line (ie, loosen the clamp and push the hose on tighter), what are my chances that I will end up draining all of the antifreeze from the system by accident assuming the hose slips off? Or would it be directly related to how much of a klutz I may be?
thanks

the best thing to do is replace the hose since its a since of it deteriating.
Hoses over time soften and have a buildup of residue such as calcium.
The rad itself holds only a percentage of antifreeze. The rest is in the block, heater core and other hoses.

just loosen the clamp and slide the hose on and retighten the clamp, you may loose a bit of fluid but as long as the hose is not removed, you should not loose much at all.
