I can't see the sc-813 LCD radio dispay at night. All the micro-bulbs work fine as I can see all the buttons illuminated, but no display.

What to do?

your problem is in the lcd screen, needs new radio to fix

Tom, I have some pictures of how I repaired the micro bulbs on the sc-813 at http://home.comcast.net/~kentshaw/bulbsout.pdf. Looking at the pictures, it looks like you may have to open the radio and remove the face plate circuit board. I haven't had to make this kind of repair yet, but my pictures may show you how to take the radio apart and how it looks inside the radio. Another option is to get your dealer to exhange the radio (I have been told about $400).

Thanks. You already shared with me the micro bulb replacement, and that was great. But I found that all my bulbs are OK, but the display is too dim to read. $400 for an exchange is not worth it. Thanks for your help.
