Steering pulls-95 850TW 850 1995

I have a 95 850TW with 72k on it. Lately I've noticed that the steering pulls left or right with the slightest pavement imperfections(esp. at speeds < 45m.p.h), but drives and steers fine on perfect pavement. The tire pressures are correct, all lugs are tight, no ball joint play, very, very small amount of tie rod end play, and the tires seem to be wearing evenly. What do you guys think??

Do you have access to a set of narrow tires? As was mentioned, really wide tires seem to follow imperfections in pavement more than narrow tires, such as snow tires.

Our 855R and our 744Ti do the same thing with their wide, summer tires on.

I call it "steamroller effect"

I assume you've done an alignment and the specs are perfect? Beyond that, the first thing most people blame is the tires, so don't give up on that even if they look fine, etc. Swap front to back to see what happens, for example.

The symptoms you describe could also be caused by a rear camber problem. I've heard others describe slightly bent delta links (trailing arms) as the source of the problem. If so, these are expensive to replace. Good luck.

What are your tire and wheel sizes? A very low profile and rutted streets will make it happen.
