Are new S70 rear pads all the same thickness??? S70 1998

I've bought a set of claimed new S/V/C 70 rear pads from a seller on Ebay. The pads arrived as a set of four with a pair thinner than the other pair (by about 1.5 mm). I've seen new S70 pads at the dealer, they appear to be all the same (all four have the same thickness).

Are all rear pads supposed to be the same thickness when new? Can there be problems installing a pair of pads with differing thicknesses on each rear rotor?

    it should be the same thickness..

    did someone sell u a used one?

    generally...pads should be replaced in pairs on the same axle.. both fronts should be replaced at the same time... and both rears should be replaced at the same time... (front vs rear can be done separately..) this is to ensure similar brake force for both left and right sides, better stability.

    i would contact ur ebay seller...

      You can buy a set of new S70 rear pads for $18 at FCPGroton.com. Why take a chance on eBay? Even if the eBay pads were free it's not worth the hassle. Mine were all the same thickness; not only on the S70, but also on every other car I have owned.
