each time I start up my 855T, the two lights on the climate control panel blink in tandem for about 10 secs. then stop. What is this unit trying to tell me.

Could be low on refrigerant, or your temperature regulator fan(s) could be gummed up with dust. look above your head at the grab bars. You'll notice a little plastic thing with a hole in it. If you pull it, it'll pop out. Inside there is a tiny fan that draws ambient air over a temp. sensor . When enough dust gets in there to stop the fan, I believe that triggers the flashing. Be careful, and try to blow some air into the hole to get rid of some of the dust.

If it's neither of these, it might be time to take it to the dealer & have them check the codes.

You have a problem with your electronics for your A/C, get a Haynes manual from the auto parts store and it will tell you how to read the codes. If you are not mechanically inclined, find a good shop that specializes in Volvo's or a dealer. I wouldn't take it to an A/C shop as they will probably not know Volvo's and also checkout other peoples bulletin's about A/C, they list most of the common A/C problems and how to fix them. Good luck!
