Door latch stiff / sticking V70-XC70 2000

My 2000 V70R with about 90k miles on it has started getting more and more difficult to open the doors. You really have to yank on it. If you push in on the door while pulling the latch, it opens freely. No amount of lube seems to do anything (assuming I'm lubing the right spots). Is it a worn latch (seems most logical), or might I be better off looking for some other problem? FWIW - the alignment on the doors seems fine, which would not suggest a worn latch (you'd think it would not close tighly). I've got to imagine that some of you have experienced this, as it happened on all 4 doors at about the same time. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a door latch issue. Think about it for a minute, the tolerances on the Volvo are considerable greater than a GM product, so I doubt you will see any difference. On a GM the door might hang down a bit. It may also simply be out of adjustment if that is possible. Go for the easy solution first.
