Trip Computer back light? 850 1997

'97 T5(sedan, black/charcoal) I bought this car about 8 months ago, all is well for the most part. Is the LCD display (trip computer below the speedo) supposed to be backlit? Mine is not, or maybe I have a gauge light out; I can't read the info after dark (which is quite early in the day this time of year) I've messed with all the lighting adjustments I can find, with no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated - Kevin

Just What I needed to know 850 1997

I knew the info was out there somewhere, thanx Tech. Now all I need is a day above 20f and I'll get outside and do it. (wish that garage wasn't packed with stuff ya know?) I think I'll just replace all the bulbs while I've got it apart, anything else I should consider while I'm there? (I'm thinking of maybe changing the gauge faces also.

You may want to change the speedo/rpm light bulbs while you're there too. They are a different type of bulb.

DON'T buy the bulbs off e-bay. The guy that sells them sell a pack of the cluster bulbs, convenient but they burn out very quickly.
