Anyone had to have a software reload,specifically a PSM regarding seat memory? If so how much did the dealer charge you...heard that its approx 25 pound for each software reload that is required.Further...did it solve the problem?Thanks in advance:)

I'm unaware of a need to re-load sw for power seat memory. The only time we re-load sw is when we replace a part that requires sw, otherwise unless there's a tech net note concerning a memory upgrade, theoretically nothing should cause software to just fail (requiring a reload).
In the US, labor runs about 1 hour plus the cost of the sw (maybe about $25) depending on what it is).

Thanks for the info Frank,appreciate it....I am in Malaysia and I am pulling my hair out as the seat never remembers the settings...I have trawled though all the info available here and followed advice...the longest I have gone where it does remember is 3 days!Its a pain in the ass when you go to the dealer or get the car washed and the seat is in a different position,press the memory 1,2.or 3 button and it does nothing..I have tried both remotes and the same problem...the dealer here knows nothing about such an issue,however,one volvo user here tells me that some YR2000 models did suffer a PSM problem.Thanks again:)
