How to replace shocks/struts? V70-XC70

I have a 98 V70 that needs new shocks/struts. Being it's a family car, I've decided on Bilstein TC. Can anyone help me with info on how to replace them? I'm going to start with the rear shocks and have replaced struts before, although several years ago ('72 240Z). I still have the spring compressors. Is there a website that might explain the finer details, or is it pretty straight forward? Also, what other items should I replace while I'm there?

Thanks,
kcarl

How to replace shocks/struts? 850 1995

The rear shocks are fairly easy to replace. No spring compressor is needed. The Bay13 webpage under the www.volvospeed.com has the instruction with pictures.

The front struts are also not too bad. Spring compressor is needed. Here is the link of front strut replacement in 850. V70 should be very similar. http://members.shaw.ca/heeeeee/strut/

Hope this help.
