AC Problem 850 1995

Compressor cycles on and off every 2-3 seconds. Does not change even if I set temp to full cold.

sounds like you are low on freon, you can bypass the low press switch to be sure.

switch is on the AC line on pass side under hood (same line with service port on it)the switch is near the firewall with a electrical harness plugged into it, unplug the harness and use a scrap piece of wire to jump the connections in the harness, start the car and turn on AC if it no longer cycles and stays on, you need a freon charge.

go to wal mart and buy a R-22 recharge kit or they have a recharge can with a hose attached to it for about $10.00, it is good to get a charge gauge so you can measure the amount of freon in the system, you don't want to overcharge it!

I believe the refridgerant is R134a and not R-22. You may want to buy the rubber and metal sealer too.
