Is the O2 sensor that is near the cat converter considered the front or rear sensor?

If it's the front one, where is the rear one.

There is a piece of metal that covers the exhaust pipe above which the O2 sensor is located It has 4 12mm bolts.I have a new volvo OEM O2 if you need it.

Hi, my front O2(96,850)went bad too. When I went to Autozon, they told me
there are two types of O2 sensors. One goes to the car with Air Pump, and
the other type goes to the one without Air Pump. How do I know if my 850 has
air pump or not? Thanks.
