A/C high temperature switch location?

The A/C on my wife's 850 turns off for about a minute when it is really hot out, then comes back on. From the archives it seems like this could be caused by the superheat switch on the compressor. There are lots of notes in the archives describing the problem but I can't find one with details.

Where is the switch? It sounds easy to bypass if I could find it. Of course there isn't a lot of room in there for looking around....

Thanks,

Terry

On the 850, it should be located on the back of the compressor. on the x70, not all cars have one.
