Car seems to turns of for a split second while driving 850

I have a 1993 850 GLT ... When I am driving for a couple hours, and I press the gas to make a lane change, it seems that the car turns off for a split second, and then everything is back to normal. This doesn't happen all the time. Only if the car is on for at least a couple of hours.
Did this happen to anyone else?

Do the lights on the dash come on like when you start the car? Do you lose power steering/brakes etc.?

Yes, I have a similar problem, it is like a misfire and the odd thing is it doesn't always do it!!!

I am looking at all connections this weekend but I think I will have to replace a fuel relay.

I hope someone else has this problem and fixed it as I would also like to know what it is.

Good luck
Matt

i might even be the fuel relay because it seems like there is no power left to the car. when you think you have solved the problem please email me and let me know.

this only happens when I press the gas trying to pass someone on the road.
