I would like any advice anyone can give on replacing the starter for a GLT. Spoke briefly to my local Volvo dealer mechanic & he said it was a pain in the rear to do the job. Just wondering what everyone thought?????

    I haven't had the pleasure. :>(

    My 2000 labor guide manual indicates it is a 1.5 hour job to remove and replace the starter on all 5 cylinders engines. It is tight fit.
