S60 R Brakes on a 98 C70? Will they fit? C70

Does anyone know if the caliper and rotors from the new s60R will fit on a 98 c70 with 17" wheels? I would like to upgrade my c70 to a larger size, but can't find anything thats similary to the 330mm that are on the s60R. I"m currently running 302mm rotors from the 850R, but even these aren't large enought to prevent warping and fade. Any thoughts especially from Yannis if hes' still around.

That's certainly one way of looking at it.

Another would be to improve their cooling. Most common way is via ducting/airflow. Less common way is to insure good clean mating surfaces between rotor and wheel so the wheel can act as a good heat sink. In extreme situations, applying a thin layer of heat sink (ie, conducting) compound at the wheel/rotor mounting interface might be of some benefit.

I happen to be rather fond of the Volvo brake pads, but I can easily see how someone worried about brake performance (or dust!) might try other pads, which could induce the braking system to overheat, which would cause the owner to apply even more braking pressure, which would cause the temps to go up even more, which would lead to excessive worry about brake performance...........

    Brembo sells aftermarket brake kits.

Keep freshening your brake fluid; I have a hunch it's been overheated.
