I crunched the hood on my 850, and am searching for another. Aside from the dealership, are there other sources? Aftermarket, perhaps? I'm not having much luck with junkyards, as the hood is the first to go...

I'm in the Boston area, BTW.

    i got a hood from southwest auto in Dallas (volvo specialist, used parts, etc.) it was even the same color as my hood, shipped to my door for about 300.00.

    Honestly, after a front-end crash in my '94 850, I was able to locate an undamaged hood at a local salvage yard. All it required was a new paint job to match my paint. Saved me a fortune over the cost of a new one from the dealer.

    My recommendation would be to keep looking in salvage yards. There are a few out there which specialize in Volvos. Check www.erievolvo.com
