SC 901 problems... S70

Ive got a 99 s70 T5 with the sc 901 radio (3 cd in dash) center dash mounted speaker, and 8 other visible speakers, 9 total visible speakers. I hear this is supposed to be a 10 speaker set, I'm assuming the 10th mmay be a subwoofer that's supposed to be in the car somewhere????? Anyway, it has the two little antennae symbols on the readout, but I get somewhat poor receptioon with it. ??? I pulled back the carpet, and made sure the trunk mounted antennae was actually plugged in, and it is. The other antennae I've heard is in the bumper somewhere, if so, where do I look to be sure it's connected? Thanks!! Also, does this unit have a factory amp??

Jerry- the sc901 only had 10 speakers in the C70 models. In the S/V70 it was 8-9 speakers, & you could probaly add the amp in the trunk, but it's probably $$$ and not too powerful. The bumper mounted antanae was also in the C70s I believe. The amp for your radio is located under the passenger front seat. It's a 4x50 watt amp. The radio itself has a 25 watt amp that powers the center channel on your dash. In the c70, the sc901 had a 4x100 amp in the trunk. As for the items in your display, i'll have to check my manual any see what it means, but maybe you could try and de-activate it to see if reception improves.
