Hello all,

I am thinking of putting tints on my windows. Does anyone has any suggestion
about which film to use? where to buy? any information will be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance!

Here is how to tint info:

The job seems very tricky. Unless you master it, I do not see how you can get it right on the first try.

I hope you're not considering doing this yourself! You can pay a professional who does many cars a day about $150-200 and get excellent results with a lifetime warranty for adhesion and colorfastness. This is not a good project to save a few dollars on! Just my opinion...

well put, get a shop that specializes in it to do the work... my roommate had his civic done up at Ziebart and they did a good job with pretty low labor costs (built into the price of the piece being applied though) plus they had sample tint pieces you could put up to your car windows to double check how dark you wanted to go

I asked the same question a while ago. Use the 'search' function on window tinting...

I had my car tinted by a professional shop. My car is a 1995 850 GLT Wagon. Check the Colorado State Police website or similar to check for legality issues and what %'s to use. JCWhitney has several types of tint, I have used the types they sell on other cars and have had good results. The important part is being patient and taking your time cutting the film to fit. Use the right tools or just get a pro to do it (one that offers a lifetime guarantee).
