Advice Needed Re. Alignment After Steering Rack Replacement 850

I have just removed the leaking steering rack on the 95' 850 turbo, and will soon install the replacment unit. Anyone have advice as to alignment of the rack or other tips related to the next phase of job?

Did you remove it yourself, and if so, was it on a lift? I'd like to sway out a bad rack myself.
