Warranty about to expire S70 1999

My warranty is about to expire. Does Volvo sell extended warranties?

Anyone have any suggestions?

Warranty about to expire S70 1999

For my wife's 1995 855, Volvo sent a letter offering an extended
warranty when the factory warranty ran out. So, they do sell them.
    (I declined it.)

I drive a 98 T5 and did not receive the same offer letter for
    that car.

If the car has too many miles they will not sell you one. This
came up a while back because the milage number is pretty low.
If over Volvo's max milage then you could use a third part warranty.

I can't recommend any third party warranty vendors since I don't have
an extended warranty on either car (once sorted out, both of our Volvos
    have been pretty reliable).

Extended warranties usually are worth the price.

Best thing to do is take the car in about a week before it expires and have the dealer do a once over on the whole car to make sure everything is in order. If it costs $100 it is worth it considering the fact that if they do find something wrong it can be repaired under warranty. Otherwise you get to pick up the tab. I did it with mine and the dealer worked with me very nicely.

nice result it does depend on the dealer S70 1999

they do get paid by a waranty company for work they do (my dealer just got the waranty folks to eat 1K to stop my driver's seat from rocking, and it took over a week, they ate the rental car and fought with the waranty co.)

if your dealer has a bad relationship with the waranty guys, it's prolly not worth much, if they get along, it's worth-while

if your dealer doesn't like waranty work (some don't) don't bother and set up a seprate bank account with interest on the value of the extended waranty, you will statistically be ahead of the game that way.

(I brought the service writer a box of cookies to share, total cost to me about $70)
