CD CHANGER LINE IN ON A HU-STEREO, DIN PIN OUTS

Can anyone help me with the the schematics for the cd-changer connector? I have a HU-655 in a v40 - 03 and thinking of using it for a mp3 player. I guess the connector is the same on all HU´s. There should be a line in here that I can make use of, or am I wrong? I won´t use it for a cd-changer.

Greatful for any help in this matter!

CD CHANGER LINE IN ON A HU-STEREO, DIN PIN OUTS V70-XC70 2000

Not a direct reply but I did successfully integrate my Apple iPod into my SC-901 in my 2000 V70R. To use it I hit the 6-disc change button and my mp3 player plays through the factory pro-logic system.

The only things I need to do is mount a 1/8" mini jack plug or RCA jack panel. I currently have the RCA jack tail coming up in the center console.

The 6 disc changer calbe carries a data signal for the SC-901, your HU unit may do the same. I trimmed open the cable and tapped into the audio signal wires. With the use of a switch I can toggle between the mp3 player or the 6-disc changer. You should be able to set up something similar.

Trying to do the same myself. I have the HU-801 unit in my S80. Do you have a changer already and you tapped into the wires our did you tap into the prewired harness for the CD changer. Eitherway how did you know which wires to tap into?
