Trip Computer Fitting 850

Hello All
I have a 2.0 liter 10 valve '97 855. Can I fit a trip computer from a 2.5 liter 855 in my dash without any major problems? Or will I have to swap the complete dash? Thanks for any help.

Your car already has a trip computer. You just need the dash switch and to have it activated. If you swap the dash, you will end up with different mileage both on the odo display and the internally saved mileage. If you change the displayed odo miles without changing the stored mileage in the computer it will appear that you tampered with the odo - a criminal offense in most states.

Hi ya,

Before i actually check this i am sure you would need to swap out all the dash as its a fully contained unit.
