Changing Headlight & Turn Signal lenses 850 1993

Hi ya,

The basic answer is no. The totally revamped the front and rear end from MY94. Different size headlights with corresponding new indicators/turn signals and a simpler bumper system.

The more expensive answer is yes but all the above need doing first :-( $$$

Changing Headlight & Turn Signal lenses 850 1993

I don't think I communicated clearly: The headlight and blinker/parking light lenses on my 93 850 GLT are cracked. I can order replacement lenses, 125.00 for both, and am wondering how difficult it is to take off the old and put on the new?

Thank you,

Hi ya,

Dead easy then. with the bonnet/hood open located in each corner by your turn signal you will see a coiled spring. Pull it and it will unhook. This will allow you to extract out the turn signal. It is very easy then to unclip the rear to allow the unit it self to be replaced.

The head lamp glass is held in place by about 8 metal clips. If you pull the trim away underneath the headlight it comes away. If you have wipers remove those first. Next just pop all the clips and the lenses comes away.
