rear bumper v70 V70-XC70

what do you suppose they were thinking when they painted the top part of the rear bumper of the "station wagon?"[or were they ?] it probably looked good leaving the showroom but sure is a mess now. anybody got any ideas on how i can find the black plastic stick on treadlike cover other than paying my beloved dealer 70+- bucks? thanx
