Horn not working with Alarm S70 1998

I have a 98 S70 T5M. When the alarm is going off the horn does not honk and also if you use the panic button on the key fob the horn will not honk. Any ideas on what the problem is? The horn works otherwise just not with the alarm.

    The alarm has its own horn mounted against the firewall
    (the car horns are in front of the radiator). I'd check
    the wiring going to the horn on the firewall for a loose
    connection. If you have a bit of electrical knowledge you
    could also apply voltage to it directly to see if it works.
