Need longer stud for 850 - HELP !

To all,

I just bought (well, I will if they can be mounted) a set of Team Dynamics "Motorsport" rims. The Team
Dynamic rim uses a stud with a separate nut - not the configuration of the factory lugnut w/stud attached.
Anyway, the longest studs the shop I'm dealing with can get don't allow for the nut to overlap a sufficient
amount of threads. Has anyone got a source for the type of stud I'm speaking of?

I ain't removing any material from these rims to accomodate the factory lug nuts (different seat angle than
the rim). Tires are mounted and ready to go, so am I... If I can't mount them correctly I am not paying for
them.

Thanks,
Barry

If the bolt pattern is correct you can press on studs but its easier just to get longer wheel bolts. As long as the new rims use cone seats, the bolts will work fine. Longer bolts usually go for about 3 dollars each

I'm not tracking with you at all...

      1. Bolt pattern is correct.

      2. Press on studs? the stud (factory and aftermarket) thread in to the factory hub.

      3. Longer wheel bolts? Factory? The factory angle does not meet the seat of the new rims. The two are not at the same seat angle (make sense???).

      4. Longer bolts? Do you mean longer studs? Longer studs (one pitch on one end, another pitch on the other end - one for hub, one for lug) is what I'm looking for.

Sorry if I am being obtuse. I can get the metric measurment and thread pitch if anyone can sell me what I need.

      Barry

What your going to need then is something like a 55mm stud that is 12x1.75. Then acorn nuts or whatever weird bolt your rims is gonna want. Try some place like mcgard for both studs and bolts.
