Clicks on every rotation when braking 850 1992

Hi,

When I brake a little harder than usual, I can hear
small metallic clicks on each revolution of the wheels.
It seems it comes from the hind wheel. A Volvo technician
checked the brakes (free of charge!) and didn't find any
problem.

Any ideas?

    Off-the-wall suggestion-

    Anything suspicious about your emergency brake?

    Drum brakes used to develop various clicks when springs came loose or broke, sometimes a rock even got in there.

      Yeah,

      Sometimes those clips that hold the E-brake loosen up. While you are driving try and pull up slightly on the E-brake and see if the sound goes away. If it does you know where to look.
