Hey Bricksters,

I am over from the 700 forum. Let me give you a little info about myself. My name is Paul I live in Tampa Fl. I own a 88 765ti(186,000) and now a 94 855t(140,000), just bought the car last night. Its due for a timing belt how much is this going to cost me, also I have read on here that its not common for the water pump to need replaced but should I get it done anyway? What is the cost of the waterpump and timing belt with labor? The 855t is in like new condition runs very nice no strange noises, and the body is in like new condition also.

    It's my understanding that waterpump should be changed every second TB change.
    At this mileage,I would change it since you are already "there".

    The Volvo dealership (Mike Georges Omaha) I take my 850T at changes timing belt for $250 installed.

      That's about what I paid for my timing belt change. Only mine was at an independant garage. The dealer wanted almost twice as much.
