Who has the best riding suspension??? S70 1998

I which over from the stock suspension to the bilstiens and yes the car does handle much better, but the ride is a little to stiff. The stock suspension didn't exact ride the best either, but I thought I would get the best of both world with the upgrade. Has anyone changed their stock suspension for something the does compromise the ride so much?

Almost anything you do to the S70 will compromise the ride. I removed the rear anti-sway bar and switched to Yokohama Avid Touring tires to get the ride I wanted. Handling does suffer a bit, but for my type of driving, it gives me a much smoother ride.

Try pump up the tires to higher psi, like 36-38.

Tires have a lot to do with the ride. My 98 t5a was purchased under the "certified pre-owned" plan , but I drove it before it went through the "certified" process. The Michelins on it were original with low tread depth and rode like rocks, almost causing me not to continue negotiations on buying the car. The dealer put new Toyos on it and it rode much better. Tire Rack is a good source of information on tire specs. Good luck!
