Volvo S100 Saloon

Recently Premier Auto Group has been notified by many clients that they would like Volvo to produce a larger saloon. This saloon would not replace the well loved S80 but be an extension to the production line of Volvo. The S100 would be Volvo's take on the Ultra-Luxury Saloon. Originally it was thought Volvo should use the new 2004 Jaguar XJ platform for this project but after much consideration we much rather see a stretched version (AWD) of the S80's platform (P2) used. The car would feature a standard V8 and optional (Volvo/Cosworth) V10 and V10 R Model.
Please sign the petition and help us build this saloon.

Build it to maintain Volvo's individual identity. Keep Volvo Swedish and not a Ford, and ward off Japanese luxury brands. Remember Lexus=Toyota, Acura=Honda, and Infiniti=Nissan. But Volvo is a luxury car on its own!

Please.

Before Volvo goes off and sinks R&D dollars into another Euro-barge, they should get back to their core values of solid, dependable RWD vehicles that are reasonably priced. Something they haven't been able to regularly produce for, say, 10 years now.

They have to do what the consumer wants otherwise they will not produce any revenue. I know you want RWD again but you have to get your message across to them otherwise they will never get the point. The thing is they find FWD safer in inclement weather and the prices are only going to get higher through the years since they are a luxury brand and are in the same class as Acura, Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and Saab. Other luxury brands which offer FWD are Acura, Audi, and Saab. The rest mantain RWD or AWD.
