Although you've probably heard it before, take a lesson from me. A mouse/rat has been getting into my garage at night (without my knowing)and chewing my wires under the hood. The only ones he got were going to the hood latch on the drivers side. He busted both of them, but nothing seems to be awry.

What are those wires for?

And take it from me, guard against these little bastards - my wife's Toyota Avalon had to be towed to the dealer ($100)to have a major part of the abs harness replaced along with the spark plug wires. It's going to cost $1950. I'm not kidding. Luckily, towing, damages, rental car, and repair all covered under auto comprehensive.

All because of a 2 dollar rat.

Not to sound like a smart$&@, but I'm thinking you need to find a stray cat and give it a home in your garage for a few weeks!!

It's a fair point, but my son is violently allergic to cats. If it weren't for that, we live on a very busy road, and cats are violently allergic to tires.

Say . . . I don't think he's allergic to pythons!!

Security system. When armed, if the hood were opened the alarm will sound.
