Hello, I noticed that the windsheild wipers were very slow on my wife's 850.
it's -25 so I'm trying not to take too much apart. Any tips would be app.
P.S. Are the 850 and 240 wiper motors interchangeable?

    Is this upon initial start, or after warm up? Mine are slow for a second and then "fire up" once the engine has been revved up a bit. Could be a weak alternator too. Turn on your healdights and see if they are dimmer than usual. If they are, could be on the way out.

      Thanks, I took them apart last night in the cold no fun, I found a split plastic cap on the passenger side wiper post,salt got in and corroded the shaft, I heated the post used penetrating and pounded it out. I cleaned and greased it and installed a new o-ring. Works great, I tryed to buy the caps from the dealer, $192.00 for the assembly, (thats the stupid tax) I am looking for the proper size at a plumbing store now.
      Anyway best to have a look at the plastic caps before they split it's a whole lot cheaper,
      I was lucky the motor didn't cook.

      P.S If anyone out there has a console armrest with a cup holder for a beige leather interior my Wife wants one. Please let me know.
