480es running problem 400 1989

does anybody have an answer to this problem..car runs nice until up to running
temperature then stops without warning ..i've changed E.C.U.and TEMP COOLING SENSOR..also changed vacuum accumultor and air regulator and it still stops at temperature .I've checked and replaced relays,fuel system o.k....ANY IDEAS GREATFULLY RECEIVED..

    I had a similar problem with mine, and after having them take out all teh fuel pump etc, found it to be carbon depostits in the butterfly-valve in the throttle system. very quickly sorted, went like a brand new car for ages (until the alternator went yesterday. damn)

    Hello.
    I dont have the answer to your problem, but your 1.7i lump is the same as the 440/460 models of that year, so try posting it in the 440 forum-you may have more luck getting a response there.
