Car alarm S70

I bought a used S70 and can't get the alarm to set (the light will not blink). I am not a previous Volvo owner. The fuse is good. any suggestions?

Are you sure the alarm isnt working? Maybe the LED is broken?

Not all S70 vehicles include the factory alarm. Mine did not have one, even though the LED was mounted. The alarm was part of an options package that I did not buy.

If it's an aftermarket alarm, look at http://www.directed.com. They have user manuals and installation instructions for many of the alarm systems available for download. You may be use your remote to see who makes the alarm system.
