I just got an IPD catalog in the mail. They have a deflector listed for $56.00 dollars. I had the same type on a 90 Civic SI I had years back. I liked it because it was easy to remove for cleaning. Also, if you got tired of it blocking your view, you could take it off in five minutes, when you got tired of the wind buffeting you and the wierd noises, you could put it back on. I have a friend who placed an adhesive version on his Prelude a few years back...big mistake. Went on crooked, after about 1 month the adhesive failed, marred up his finish, and when he broke down and bought a clipped version, the adhesive-ruined paint showed...what a mess.

We have had two Volvo deflectors and like them.

The good - They do lessen the "wappering" or buffeting inside the car at speed with the roof open and the windows closed. (To me this is important because I open the sunroof whenever there is no rain and the heater can stay ahead of the cold!) No drilling on mine.

The bad - They block some of the view, they keep some of the roof from getting cleaned at the car wash, and worst of all they hide crud like acorns and maple seeds that drop into the car when you open the sunroof. I made a long handled brush to sweep under the deflector on days that I suspect crud hiding under there.

The ugly - Actually I think that they look half decent.

Every year I remove the hardware and put never sieze on it as it is rusting a bit. I also wax the roof and clean the gasket.

Don't do it - you'll be sorry. Deflectors pain in the butt and most that install wish they hadn't. But if you wwant extra noise, hard to clean spots and holes drilled in your car with lessening the actual usefulness off the sunroof go for it. ebay or Volvo dealer supplied about the same.
