I recently bought a '95 855 here...I am not familiar with "Torx" tools.....Anyone fill me in on this...What set(Sears?) I am an urbanite and don't have access to a work area in town so my tools are kept out of town. Thanks Colter

I have spare tool kit for my 850, with all the torx tips that are used everyday. I can send it to you if you are interested. I am not looking much for it.

torx bits have like a star tip. look under your hood and on the top engine cover (black says 20 valves) this is fastened with torx screws. spark plugs are underneath this cover. volvo uses this type of screw/bolt in many places.

thanks daniel....sears i think has a good set....i wonder....how extensive....volvo seems to mention a coupla sizes....25mm.etc...Colter

IPD also sells a set of the bits.

I have used a few different sizes and now need a 45 mm for the door detent hinge on my drivers door.
