Does anyone know the cause and/or solution to this problem:
When the turn signal is activated the signal lights stay on continuously. (They don't blink intermittently as they should)
The car is a 98 V70 and the funny thing is this only happens randomly. Other times it is fine. Help Me.........

I had the same problem and the replacement is super easy, takes ten minutes. Definately don't pay to have someone do it.

Its the Ole Defective emergency flasher switch V70-XC70

There was a rash of defective emergency flasher switch's in the 98's, mine
included--did exactlty the same thing. Pop out your ashtray, then pop thru the
emergency flasher switch/button--buy a new unit and replace!
